According to the plan of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2023 will take place from June 2 to July 8 with the theme "World without distance". The festival includes a fireworks display competition and accompanying activities, organized by the People's Committee of the City; managed by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and implemented bySun Group Corporation.
Fireworks will be launched at the Han River port area. The main grandstand and stage will be located on the sidewalk of Tran Hung Dao Street, opposite the launch area on the foundation of the stage used in previous DIFFs.
The fireworks competition includes 7 international teams and the host team Vietnam, performing for 5 nights. Each team performs for about 20 - 22 minutes (not less than 20 minutes and not more than 22 minutes).
After 3 years of absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2023 has returned
Specifically, night 1 (June 2): is the performance of 2 teams Vietnam - Finland with the theme " Peace for humanity".
Night 2 (June 10): Canada - France team will perform with the theme "Love without borders".
Night 3 (June 17): Australia - Italy team performs with the theme "Conquering dreams".
Night 4 (June 24): Poland - England team performs with the theme "Dance of Nature".
The final night took place on the evening of July 8 with the theme "A World Without Distance".
The competition's prize structure includes: the champion team will receive a prize worth 10,000 USD, a trophy and a certificate; the runner-up team will receive a prize worth 5,000 USD, a trophy and a certificate.
The People's Committee of Da Nang City said that the criteria for evaluating the performances include: the idea, diversity and theme of the performance; the richness and diversity of colors; the uniqueness and quality of the performance; the scale and number of effects; the synchronization and coordination between sound (background music) and fireworks images; sticking to the theme and expressing the meaning of the theme of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2023.
Accompanying and supporting activities are expected to be held on both sides of the Han River and along main roads. According to the plan, the activities will be large-scale, with rich and attractive content and highly interactive with the festival.
The budget for organizing the fireworks display of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2023 is undertaken by Sun Group, not using the state budget according to general regulations.
