
At this time, Bac Ninh is in the citrus harvest season (oranges, grapefruit). In 2025, the total fruit tree area of Bac Ninh province will reach nearly 54 thousand hectares. Of which, the citrus fruit tree area is over 8.6 thousand hectares, the estimated output is about 80 thousand tons, the estimated value is over 1,800 billion VND. Citrus trees continue to be the main crop group, contributing significantly to the value of agricultural production and the income of people in key growing areas.
Regarding orange trees, the whole province has over 2,600 hectares, with an estimated output of over 28,300 tons; the production area according to VietGAP standards is 1,700 hectares. The main orange varieties include: Duong Canh orange, Vinh orange, Xoàn orange, Thai orange... concentrated in communes/wards such as: Chu, Luc Ngan, Luc Son, Nghia Phuong, Dong Phu... The orange harvest time starts from October 2025 and lasts until February 2026.

For grapefruit trees, the area is nearly 5,500 hectares, the estimated output is over 48,600 tons. The grapefruit area produced according to VietGAP is 3,600 hectares, the organic production area is about 10 hectares. The main varieties include: Dien grapefruit, Dao Duong, Cat Que, Da Xanh... concentrated in the communes: Nam Duong, Luc Ngan, Yen The, Phuong Son... Grapefruit harvest time is from September 2025 to February 2026. In addition, the province also has areas of safe vegetables, medicinal plants, flowers - ornamental plants, livestock and aquaculture with stable development.
The survey delegation included nearly 120 delegates representing the Tourism Association, Tourism Information and Promotion Center, Tourism Culture and Promotion Center, travel agencies in the province and the following provinces and cities: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Hung Yen and reporters from central and local press agencies.
The delegation conducted a field trip to the key fruit growing areas of Chu Ward, Phuong Son Ward and Luc Ngan Commune; visited some typical tourist areas, attractions, garden houses, cooperatives and craft villages such as: Bau Tien Eco-tourism Site, Hoa Qua Son Tourist Site, Dong Bac Cultural Village, Chu Noodle Cooperative; participated in the Bac Ninh Fruit Festival 2025 at the Central Square of Chu Ward.

At the destinations, delegates were introduced to natural landscapes, eco-tourism models, accommodation, culinary and entertainment products; experienced picking and enjoying ripe oranges and grapefruits in the garden, and learned about products from craft villages and cooperatives.
Ms. Ly Hong Hanh, Director of Epic Tourism and Education Limited Liability Company, said that the visit to the fruit growing area of Bac Ninh left many impressions of the typical beauty of the ripe orange season. The hillsides covered in the yellow color of oranges and grapefruits create a brilliant scene, a harmony between the green leaves and the gentle sunlight. According to Ms. Hanh, the remarkable point is that the orange gardens are carefully tended, the trees are heavy with fruit, the rows are straight, demonstrating professionalism in cultivation. The people's focus on safe production and the application of new techniques has helped to significantly improve the quality of the fruit.

Ms. Ly Hong Hanh assessed that the survey trip aimed to help tourism units and travel businesses grasp the potential and strengths, especially the characteristics of agricultural tourism - experience of Bac Ninh, thereby enhancing consulting, promoting and linking to form new products and tours associated with supporting the consumption of agricultural products.
Through the survey, experts and businesses will discuss, evaluate and propose solutions to improve service quality and local human resources, while promoting destinations, expanding markets and attracting domestic and international tourists to Bac Ninh in the coming time.
