Some other schools will announce on August 21. The deadline for universities to announce the benchmark scores is 5:00 p.m. on August 22.

The 2025 university entrance exam has entered the decisive stage with nearly 850,000 candidates registering and about 7.6 million wishes - an average of nearly 9 wishes/candidate, much higher than previous years. Therefore, the pressure to "fix" the standard score is increasing sharply in both the North and the South.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training , from August 13 to 5:00 p.m. on August 20, training institutions will upload admission data (high school graduation exam scores, transcripts, scores of separate exams, etc.) and organize admission on the System. From August 17, the System of the Ministry of Education and Training and two virtual filtering groups in the North (Hanoi University of Science and Technology chaired) and the South (Ho Chi Minh City National University chaired) will run the data 6 times; the last time will end at 4:30 p.m. on August 20.

This is a process to ensure that each candidate is only admitted to a maximum of one wish among the registered wishes, according to the principle of considering from wish 1 to the last wish.

The system will stop at whichever candidate is admitted and remove the candidate from the virtual filter list in the next times. This is to limit the situation of virtual admission and help schools implement the enrollment plan conveniently and accurately.

According to the request of the Ministry of Education and Training, schools will announce the benchmark scores and the list of successful candidates for the first round before 5:00 p.m. on August 22. Candidates will confirm their admission online before 5:00 p.m. on August 30. Currently, nearly 20 schools are expected to announce the benchmark scores in the afternoon or evening of August 20, including: Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hanoi University of Electricity, Vietnam Women's Academy, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance...

Many other schools will announce their benchmark scores in the next two days, August 21 and 22.
