Nghe An Union of Friendship Organizations deploys tasks for 2025

This morning (January 15), at the conference to deploy tasks for 2025, the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Union of Friendship Organizations determined that the focus is to closely follow the political tasks and socio-economic development goals of the province to organize appropriate, practical and effective people's activities. Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Union attended and directed the conference. Also attending was Comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Before deploying the directions and tasks, delegates attended a national online conference organized by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations to thoroughly grasp the directions, tasks, and key work in 2025.

Mr. Hoang Duc Cuong - Vice President, General Secretary of the Union presented a report at the conference.

The content closely follows the political tasks and socio-economic development goals of the locality to organize appropriate, practical and effective people's foreign affairs activities as thoroughly as the Union Executive Committee: Promote foreign information work on major events of the country, major events between Vietnam and other countries. In addition to prioritizing the consolidation of traditional partnerships in the direction of increasing efficiency and substance, we also seek and expand new partners; Play a good role as a bridge to develop friendly relations, cooperation in investment, trade, tourism , humanitarian aid, and labor export. In this process, we will increase meetings and mobilize aid from foreign non-governmental organizations, foreign associations and organizations, foreign business associations to mobilize small projects and capital from Nghe An fellow countrymen associations, kind-hearted individuals abroad to build the homeland and provide humanitarian funding.

In addition to these contents, concluding the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Nghe An Union of Friendship Organizations Hoang Nghia Hieu proposed to implement the provincial-level scientific project that had been bid on "Research, evaluate the current situation and propose solutions to improve the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy activities in the socio-economic development strategy of Nghe An province"; focus on building a project on: research, connecting and promoting foreign markets through people-to-people diplomacy activities to promote Nghe An products abroad, promote Nghe An culture abroad through foreign information activities.
