The final match of the Dan Tri & Friends category witnessed the competition between two pairs of athletes Tran Anh Tuan - Nguyen Truong Son (Vietnam Television) against two artist athletes Ngoc Anh Kim and Ba Ngoc.

Before this match, Ba Ngoc was injured at the start. This incident forced the match to be postponed. At the last minute, Ba Ngoc decided to play, instead of giving up.

Sharing after winning the championship, athlete Anh Tuan appeared extremely happy. He said: “The Dan Tri newspaper tournament is the biggest among the groundswell tournaments I have ever participated in. The players had a lot of fun and interacted enthusiastically.

I feel lucky to win first prize today. I would like to thank the organizers for creating an interesting playground for pickleball lovers.

The fact that our opponent was injured before the match was considered an advantage for us. I felt a little sorry for our opponent when he had an accident before the final match. Ba Ngoc also tried very hard in the last match."

Athlete Truong Son talked about the strategy to win the championship: “This is a tournament with quite high professional quality. We went through many very tense matches, many of which had to come from behind to win.

That achievement comes from our training and research. This is a sport that is quite tactical, like the chess that my son plays. It is not just about hitting hard and competing fiercely that we win. Applying reasonable tactics for each match helps us to get through many difficult moments. This is an emotional championship."
