Brigade 172: honoring outstanding soldiers in 2024

On the afternoon of December 17, in Da Nang city, Brigade 172 (Navy Region 3) held a conference to honor outstanding soldiers in 2024 to recognize the dedication, contributions and achievements of soldiers in the process of building, developing and growing of Brigade 172.

The event is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024). Thereby, continuing to encourage, motivate and replicate advanced models in building comprehensively strong agencies and units "exemplary, typical", Party organizations that excellently complete their tasks, contributing to firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland in the new situation.

At the conference, Brigade 172, Naval Region 3 commended and awarded 24 soldiers. These are typical individuals, excellent in working in many different fields, always leading, innovating, being creative, having many important contributions to the tasks of training, combat readiness, defense diplomacy, having high achievements in participating in competitions and sports at all levels and in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style and implementing the campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers".

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Truong Giang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Brigade Commander of Brigade 172 acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the achievements, great contributions, responsibility and efficiency of outstanding individuals who contributed to the successful implementation of the Brigade's tasks in recent years. The Brigade Commander requested Party committees, commanders at all levels and all officers and soldiers to continue to uphold the spirit of initiative, creativity, overcoming difficulties, striving to excellently complete all assigned tasks, contributing to promoting and spreading the noble image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers" in the cause of building and firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
