The highest salary for civil servants in vocational education is 14.4 million VND.

Circular 07/2023/TT-BLDTBXH regulates the codes, standards for professional titles; salary classification, and promotion of professional titles for civil servants in the vocational education sector. This Circular takes effect from October 15, 2023.

Teaching staff in vocational education institutions will have their salaries classified according to job title codes and standards starting from October 15th. (Source: TNO)

Accordingly, civil servants whose salaries are classified into professional positions in the vocational education sector as stipulated in Circular 07/2023/TT-BLDTBXH shall apply the corresponding salary scale issued with Decree 204/2004/ND-CP, specifically as follows:

- Senior vocational education lecturer - Code: V.09.02.01, is subject to the salary coefficient of civil servants type A3 group 1 (A3.1) from salary coefficient 6.20 to salary coefficient 8.00.

- Principal vocational education lecturer - Code: V.09.02.02, is subject to the salary coefficient of civil servants type A2 group 1 (A2.1) from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78.

- Vocational education lecturer (theoretical) - Code: V.09.02.03, is subject to the salary coefficient of civil servants of type A1, ranging from 2.34 to 4.98.

- Practical vocational education instructor - Code: V.09.02.04, is subject to the salary coefficient of civil servants of type A0, ranging from 2.10 to 4.89.

- Senior vocational education teacher - Code: V.09.02.05, is subject to the salary coefficient of civil servants type A3 group 2 (A3.2), from salary coefficient 5.75 to salary coefficient 7.55.

- Principal vocational education teacher - Code: V.09.02.06, is subject to the salary coefficient of civil servants type A2 group 1 (A2.1) from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78.

- Vocational education teacher (theoretical) - Code: V.09.02.07, is subject to the salary coefficient of civil servants of type A1, ranging from 2.34 to 4.98.

- Vocational education teachers (practical training) - Code: V.09.02.08, are subject to the salary coefficient of civil servants of type A0, ranging from 2.10 to 4.89.

- Vocational education teachers - Code: V.09.02.09, are subject to the salary coefficient of civil servants type B, ranging from 1.86 to 4.06.

With the current base salary of 1,800,000 VND, the highest salary for civil servants in the vocational education sector (coefficient 8.00) is 14,400,000 VND.
