Lynk & Co 03+ TCR priced at 5.2 billion VND "sold out" before opening day

Although production will not begin until April 2026, the Lynk & Co 03+ TCR sports car was still ordered by Chinese customers on the day of its launch.

Lynk & Co, a brand of Geely Group, has just confirmed that the first batch of 03+ TCR cars was "sold out" at the "CO Customer" event on December 6, 2025. This shows the strong appeal of the domestic racing car developed according to TCR standards.

Although the production line was not scheduled to start operating until April 2026, the first batch of cars were sold out as soon as they were announced. This not only affirms the appeal of the 03+ TCR but also demonstrates Lynk & Co's maturity in the motorsport field, a field that has long been the playground of European/American brands.

Lynk & Co developed the 03+ TCR based on the third generation 03 platform, but completely redesigned it to fit the TCR technical framework. The most notable point is the Drive-E engine, with a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder configuration, a completely re-tuned cooling system, upgraded turbocharger and re-mapped the engine.

As a result, the engine block on the new Lynk & Co 03+ TCR 2026 reaches 345.2 horsepower and 420Nm, combined with a 6-speed "Xtrac 1046" sequential gearbox with paddle shifters, a configuration commonly found on professional racing cars.

To ensure performance during competition, Lynk & Co equips the 03+ TCR with a racing-inspired technical package including 6-piston front brake calipers and 380mm ventilated discs. The rear uses 290mm ventilated discs and 2-piston brakes.

The car is equipped with a new Gen 3 aerodynamic body kit including a wide body, a massive front bumper, a hood vent, extended side skirts, and a carbon rear wing. The interior is minimalist, with an integrated roll cage, racing seats, and racing-standard safety equipment.

The weight with driver is targeted by Lynk & Co at 1,265kg, ensuring an optimal power/weight ratio for competition. Lynk & Co says the 03+ TCR will initially focus on sprint events.

However, the company is also preparing this high-performance sedan to participate in endurance racing, which requires higher levels of cooling capacity, chassis durability and engine stability.

The announced price of the 03+ TCR is 1.40 million NDT (about 5.2 billion VND), opening an important milestone for the Chinese racing industry, especially when this is a "ready-to-race" product for ordinary customers but fully meets international competition standards.

Customers who own a Lynk & Co 03+ TCR will receive many special benefits, including a “Champion Driver Masterclass” package worth 40,000 yuan (149.15 million VND). This package includes two hours of track training, guided by champion drivers, and basic technical support within one year from the date of receiving the car.
