The festival was elaborately staged with exceptionally unique performances and arts, showcasing the heroic spirit of a land rich in historical traditions and the distinctive cultural beauty of the port city. The highlight of the festival was the fashion show featuring the ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) collections "Land of Memories," "Dance of a New Day," and "Vietnamese Ao Dai."
The áo dài (Vietnamese traditional dress) has appeared on stage in various forms, from its earliest origins 2000 years ago to the changes and unique characteristics of each historical period. Prominently featured on modern áo dài are images of familiar landmarks associated with the land and people of Hai Phong, such as the City Theater, Hai Phong Railway Station, the City Post Office , Tam Bac Lake… and the vibrant red of the flamboyant flower – the symbolic flower of our beloved port city.
All those images and products are woven and embroidered with the creativity, love, and skillful hands of the women of Hai Phong.
