The Fatherland Front at all levels in Quang Tri province received nearly 20 billion VND to support the northern provinces in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods.

This afternoon, September 20, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province continued to receive more than 14 billion VND from districts, towns and cities to support the northern provinces in overcoming the aftermath of natural disasters. Accordingly, the people and officials of Dong Ha city donated more than 2.542 billion VND; Gio Linh district donated more than 2.195 billion VND; Trieu Phong district donated 2.176 billion VND; Hai Lang district donated 2.140 billion VND; Huong Hoa district donated 2.178 billion VND; Dakrong district donated more than 669 million VND; Con Co island district donated 53 million VND; Quang Tri town donated more than 705 million VND; Vinh Linh district donated more than 4.312 billion VND; Quang Tri health sector donated 190 million VND.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, Dao Manh Hung, said that Quang Tri province is often affected by storms and floods. In addition to proactively implementing solutions to respond to and overcome the consequences of storm No. 4 in affected localities, Quang Tri province continues to mobilize agencies, units, localities, businesses and people to support people in the northern provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

With their hearts turned towards the people of the Northern provinces and cities heavily affected by storm No. 3, officials, civil servants, employees, workers and people in the whole province directly donated cash and organized many other practical activities to contribute to sharing the loss, pain and supporting the Northern people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

This is a sentiment, a deep gratitude for the attention, support and help from the northern provinces and cities for Quang Tri province when it suffered damage from storms and floods in recent years.
