After more than two weeks of being out of contact, Liu Ngoc Hang (22 years old, from Dong Nai province), a female student, was found in China and has returned to Vietnam to reunite with her family.
Today (February 9th), Liu Ngoc Hang (22 years old, from Dong Nai province), a female student, returned to Vietnam and reunited with her family after a period of losing contact and being found in China.

At Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City), the student's mother said she was very nervous and happy to have found her daughter. She expressed gratitude to the online community for spreading the information, as well as to the authorities in Vietnam and China for their support in the search.
"If I don't find my child, I probably won't be able to live," she said, her voice choked with emotion.
The family also stated that they would have to wait until Hang's mental state stabilizes before they could ask her further questions.
As reported by VietNamNet, before the Lunar New Year, Hang (a fourth-year student at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics ) informed her family that she would stay in Ho Chi Minh City to work part-time to earn money for tuition fees.
However, since January 21st (the 22nd day of the 12th lunar month), Hang left the dormitory and her family has been unable to contact her since. Worried about their daughter's safety, the family reported the incident to the police in the area where they lost contact and also asked the online community for help in the search.
Thanks to the assistance of the Vietnamese Consulate General in Guangzhou and other relevant authorities, Hang was found in China.
Authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the reasons why Hang lost contact and appeared in China.
