According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, a weak cold front is currently moving southward in the North.
On the evenings of March 28th and 29th, the northern and central parts of Central Vietnam will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms, with localized heavy rainfall of 15-30mm, and in some places over 50mm; thunderstorms may bring tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind. Locally heavy rainfall may cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on slopes, and flooding in low-lying areas. The risk of natural disasters due to tornadoes, lightning, and hail is at level 1.

Southeast to South winds will be at level 2-3; there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms. The lowest temperature will be 20-23 degrees Celsius, with some mountainous areas below 20 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 26-29 degrees Celsius.
Hanoi will be cloudy with scattered rain, foggy and misty in the early morning, clearing up with sunshine in the afternoon; showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected in the evening and night, with locally heavy to very heavy rain. Southeast to south winds at level 2-3; there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms. The lowest temperature will be 21-23 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 27-29 degrees Celsius.
Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien - Hue will be mostly cloudy with scattered rain, early morning fog and light mist in some areas, clearing up with sunshine in the afternoon; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and night, with localized heavy rain; light winds; during thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature 22-25 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature, 28-31 degrees Celsius in the North, 31-34 degrees Celsius in the South.
From Da Nang to Binh Thuan, it will be cloudy with sunny days and scattered showers at night; in the northern part, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, with localized heavy rain. East to Southeast winds at level 2-3; during thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature will be 24-27 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 31-34 degrees Celsius.
The Central Highlands region will be cloudy with sunny days, some areas experiencing hot weather; scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in the late afternoon and evening; light winds; there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms. The lowest temperature will be 19-22 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 31-34 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 35 degrees Celsius.
Southern Vietnam will be cloudy with hot sunshine during the day, and scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. East winds will be at level 2-3; there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms. The lowest temperature will be 25-28 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 34-37 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 37 degrees Celsius.
