Once rolled and fried, the spring rolls have a thin, golden, crispy outer layer. The filling is irresistibly delicious thanks to the combination of meat, shrimp, vegetables, vermicelli, wood ear mushrooms, and shiitake mushrooms, Taste Atlas describes.

This is not the first time Vietnamese fried spring rolls have been honored in the world media. Previously, in May 2023, Vietnamese spring rolls were included in the list of "100 best appetizers in the world" by Taste Atlas.
