As in test code 0238, two answers are recognized and scored as 4800 and 4801.
Speaking with VietNamNet , the team that created the Physics exam for the 2025 high school graduation exam said that candidates who created and filled in one of the two results were both marked correctly and received points.
According to the test-making team, the test is completely accurate and there are no problems, but this is a way to create the most favorable conditions for candidates. In this question, the solution is to apply the formula of the law of radiation. But when replacing the numbers, candidates can calculate correctly according to the formula of the law of radiation or apply the formula of the law but replace the approximate value ln2 = 0.693. From there, it leads to two different results.
According to this person, the test committee had anticipated both ways of changing numbers, so they gave answers that accepted both results to avoid disadvantages for the candidates.
“This is a short answer test, so it can handle this. More importantly, the 2025 high school graduation exam aims to assess the learner's ability. During the solving process, different rounding methods give different results, but they are all approximate values, so the Ministry of Education and Training records both answers for candidates, creating fairness,” he said.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the 2025 high school graduation exam has met the goals set out in Resolution 29: "Correctly assessing students' abilities, serving as a basis for vocationaleducation and university education admissions".
Accordingly, the exam has increased the number of questions that are differentiating. According to the Ministry of Education and Training, this is to limit the shortcomings of previous years, when the exam had few questions to classify students, causing difficulties in enrollment, forcing many higher education institutions to organize their own exams, causing costs and wasting social resources.
Regarding the content of the exam, the Ministry of Education and Training affirmed that it did not exceed the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program. The ratio of thinking levels (related to difficulty) closely followed the published reference questions; had differentiation and was based on testing results in 3 regions.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry has developed a number of test questions for large-scale testing with about 12,000 candidates nationwide, including in the most difficult provinces. The test results have been carefully analyzed using modern testing theory and are one of the important bases for the test council to design reference questions to determine the level of the test, ensuring differentiation and meeting the requirements of Resolution 29.
Regarding some information about the difficult exam questions, especially for Math and English, the Ministry of Education and Training said that there could be many reasons. "However, we need to wait until the exam results are available to determine clearly," the Ministry of Education and Training's report stated. The 2025 high school graduation exam scores will be announced on July 16.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, in order to meet the requirements of Resolution 29, Conclusion No. 91 of the Central Committee and the challenges posed to the exam work of the 2025 high school graduation exam, the exam has been adjusted many times.
