On the evening of April 27th, the opening ceremony of the Sam Son Beach Tourism Festival 2024 will take place at the Sam Son City Beach Square stage. The art performance will feature many famous artists such as Duc Phuc, Trong Tan, Min, Duong Hoang Yen, OPlus group... along with a spectacular fireworks display, marking the beginning of a vibrant summer tourism season.

As is customary, Sun Group Corporation continues its partnership with Thanh Hoa province and Sam Son city to organize the opening night of the 2024 Sea Tourism Festival. With the theme "Sam Son in Vibrant Colors," the art performance was divided into three chapters: The Quintessence of Thanh Hoa Culture, The Echoes of the Blue Sea, and Sam Son's Radiant Future, celebrating the natural beauty and people of Thanh Hoa. The event was broadcast live on Thanh Hoa Radio and Television and rebroadcast on numerous television stations nationwide.
Through spectacular artistic performances by renowned artists, the program guides viewers through a range of emotions: profound with folk songs deeply rooted in Thanh Hoa's identity such as "Ho Song Ma" and "Di Cay"; romantic with "Nang Vang Bien Xanh Va Anh," "Pho Bien," and "Yeu"; or passionate with vibrant pop songs like "Di Chua Cau Duyen" and "Di De Tro Ve"...

The opening ceremony of the 2024 Sam Son Beach Tourism Festival, along with the art program "Sam Son - Vibrant Colors," will contribute to vividly portraying the image of Sam Son as a young city, brimming with modern vitality and rich in historical and cultural traditions, on its journey to becoming a year-round tourist destination. Immediately following the opening night, Sam Son will organize numerous cultural, artistic, and sporting activities throughout the summer and into the end of the year, such as the National Beach Tennis Championship, the Thanh Hoa Specialty Food Festival, the OCOP Fair, the opening of Sun World Sam Son Park, the Street Carnival, the Fishing Festival - Boat Race... aiming to welcome 8.5 million visitors this year.
A highlight of the event was the inauguration ceremony, officially opening the Sam Son City Beach Square and Festival Landscape Axis. This is a large-scale investment project, featuring a 2-hectare square with a capacity of approximately 10,000 people, and a 2.6km long, 120m wide festival landscape axis connecting the Beach Square to the Nam Song Ma Boulevard.

Designed by ASPECT Studios (Australia) – one of the leading international companies in the field of landscape architecture design – Sam Son Beach Square is expected to become a new symbol of the coastal city. For the first time in Thanh Hoa province, a modern and comprehensively invested beach square will appear, offering a spacious area for organizing large-scale outdoor festivals and events, while also serving as a cultural destination for locals and tourists thanks to its beautiful landscape and modern architecture, rich in Thanh Hoa's identity, such as the iconic Hon Trong Mai rock formation, Dong Son bronze drum motifs, and a water music performance space likened to "Singapore in the heart of Sam Son"...

Launched during last year's summer tourist season, Sam Son Beach Square and its water music show have become a popular entertainment space attracting millions of tourists to the coastal city, adding vibrancy to Sam Son. Going forward, projects such as Sun World Sam Son Park and high-rise apartment towers with expansive sea views will gradually complete Sun Group's ecosystem in Sam Son, offering diverse experiences and meeting the needs of locals and tourists alike.

With its official opening, the Sea Square and Festival Landscape Axis will enhance the attractiveness of Sam Son tourism, attract visitors, overcome seasonality, gradually transform tourism into a key economic sector of Thanh Hoa, and simultaneously turn Thanh Hoa province into a new growth pole for the region and the country, in line with the spirit of Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and developing Thanh Hoa until 2030, with a vision to 2045.
