Angelo Stiller has attracted the attention of Manchester United as the English club searches for a replacement for Casemiro, whose contract expires at the end of this season.

The 24-year-old has been outstanding as a defensive midfielder at VfB Stuttgart, establishing himself as one of the best players in the Bundesliga.

Stiller has secured a place in the German national team's midfield, scoring one goal and providing four assists since the start of the season, causing his transfer value to skyrocket.

Sky Sport Germany reports that Stuttgart will demand a fee of £43 million, amid reports that Angelo Stiller is eager to leave.

MU could easily reach an agreement with the German club because Stiller is a cheaper option compared to other targets they are considering to solve their midfield problem.

Manager Ruben Amorim is eager to rebuild his midfield for next season, as both Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro are rumored to be leaving Old Trafford.

Currently, Manchester United are struggling because they lack a defensive midfielder capable of developing the game, leading to Bruno often being dropped deeper into a more defensive role.

The Portuguese star is better suited to an attacking midfield role. Therefore, signing Stiller could solve the deadlock in MU's midfield.

Besides Angelo Stiller, Manchester United's scouts are also keeping an eye on a few other names such as Adam Wharton (Crystal Palace), Carlos Baleba (Brighton) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest).
