Rain is expected from the Northeast to Nghe An and the Central Highlands, and the Southern region.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (June 27th), students nationwide are gathering to prepare for the high school graduation exam, and generally, the weather is free from unusual natural disasters.

Specifically, there will be little rain in the Northwest region. In the Northeast region, Hoa Binh , Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An, there will continue to be showers and scattered thunderstorms, with localized heavy to very heavy rain, but the amount of rainfall is gradually decreasing. The total rainfall will remain at 20-50mm, with some areas exceeding 80mm.

The central region generally experiences little rain and sunny weather; however, from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai, there will be localized heatwaves.

The Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam will have sunny days, with a possibility of thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, and locally heavy rain, with amounts of 20-40mm, and in some places over 60mm.

Heavy rains pose a risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas, and flooding in low-lying areas; be prepared for heavy rainfall in a short period of time causing flooding in urban areas. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

Furthermore, the meteorological agency noted that water levels on the Thuong River will continue to rise today. Specifically, flood levels on the Thuong River at Cau Son remain above Level 2, and at Phu Lang Thuong, they are likely to rise above Level 1. Warnings of flash floods, landslides, and localized flooding in the northern mountainous provinces remain in effect.

Northwestern region

Cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas. Light winds. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

Northeastern Vietnam

Cloudy, with showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. Light winds. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas below 22 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees Celsius, in some places above 32 degrees Celsius; in mountainous areas 32-34 degrees Celsius.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue

In the North (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An), it will be cloudy with showers and scattered thunderstorms, with localized heavy to very heavy rain; in the South, it will be cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening, and localized moderate to heavy rain; showers and thunderstorms in some areas at night; sunny during the day, with some areas experiencing hot weather. Light winds. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees. Highest temperature: North: 30-33 degrees, South: 32-35 degrees, with some areas exceeding 35 degrees.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan

Cloudy with sunny periods, some areas in the North experiencing hot weather; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, with localized moderate to heavy rain; scattered showers and thunderstorms at night. Southwesterly winds at 2-3 Beaufort. There is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature: 32-35 degrees Celsius; in the North, some areas may exceed 35 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands

Cloudy, with intermittent sunshine during the day, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, with localized moderate to heavy rain. Southwesterly winds at force 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees. Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees, with some areas exceeding 33 degrees.

Southern Vietnam

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees. Highest temperature: 32-35 degrees.

Hanoi

Cloudy, with occasional showers and thunderstorms in the morning, and intermittent sunshine during the day. Light winds. There is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.
