The total enrollment quota mentioned above includes the slots reserved for students from the Central Ethnic Minority Pre-University School. Of these, the Pharmacy program has the highest enrollment with 760 students, including 30 slots for the joint program with the University of Sydney, Australia.

This year, Hanoi University of Pharmacy maintains the same four admission methods.

Specifically, the school offers the following admission methods: direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ; admission based on a combination of academic transcripts and SAT certificates; admission based on academic transcripts for students in specialized programs or A-level certificates (higher general education certificates from the UK); admission based on scores from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's aptitude test; and admission based on high school graduation exam scores.

For SAT scores, the requirement is a score of 1400/1600 or higher for Pharmacy and 1350 for other fields.

This year, for the first time, Hanoi University of Pharmacy is accepting applications from candidates with A-level certificates. Candidates need to have a score of 80/100 or higher in three subjects according to the admission combination for each major, with a minimum score of 90/100 in Chemistry.

For students specializing in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, the admission score is the sum of the average score for each subject, plus converted priority points and bonus points.

In all of the above methods, candidates must have excellent academic performance for three years, with each subject in the admission combination in grades 10, 11, and 12 scoring 8 or higher.

The admission method based on the results of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's aptitude test only applies to the Pharmacy major. Students need to achieve a score above 7 in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry over three years of high school. This condition also applies to the admission method based on high school graduation exam results for the Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry majors.

Successful applicants for the Pharmacy program can apply for a joint training program with the University of Sydney, Australia, if they have an IELTS certificate with a score of 6.5 or higher (no skill below 6) or equivalent.
