Young man driving motorbike without license plate hit traffic police officer, seriously injured

On the afternoon of February 12 (the 3rd day of Tet), representatives of Tuy Phuoc Traffic Police Station - Traffic Police Department of Binh Dinh Province Police arrested a young man driving a motorbike that hit and injured a traffic police officer.

On the same morning, the Tuy Phuoc Traffic Police Station working group, consisting of 9 officers and soldiers, led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Head of the Station, performed the task of patrolling, controlling, and handling violations of traffic safety and order on National Highway 1 (from Km1125+400 to Km1185).

At 11:30, the Task Force discovered a motorbike without a license plate driven by a young man traveling north-south, so they signaled him to stop for inspection. However, the young man did not obey the order, but instead accelerated and ran away, hitting Captain N.D.L., causing both of them to fall onto the road.

After hitting the traffic police captain, the vehicle and the male driver fell onto the road and were arrested by the task force. The traffic police captain suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Binh Dinh General Hospital by his teammates for emergency treatment.

Through initial examination, Captain N.D.L. had a broken left elbow and a broken right fibula.

Initial information, the driver of the violating vehicle was TNHA (born 2007, residing in Dak Lak ). Test results showed that TNHA was negative for drugs and did not violate alcohol concentration.
