In line with the trend of digital transformation, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies - Thanh Hoa Provincial Branch (NHCSXH Thanh Hoa) has focused on implementing many convenient solutions in its policy credit lending activities. This has contributed to improving operational efficiency, bringing many benefits to customers, and ensuring the safety of the policy credit payment system.

Improving the effectiveness of policy credit operations. Implementing an interconnected online camera application software within the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies system, enabling remote monitoring and management of operations at the grassroots level.

Mr. Vi Van Duc, residing in Thanh Dong village, Thanh Xuan commune (Nhu Xuan district), received a loan of 100 million VND under the Production and Business Program in 2022. Mr. Duc stated: “Previously, to inquire about the principal and interest payment schedule for my family's loan or the government 's preferential credit policies, I had to go directly to a branch or meet with a credit officer to verify and make payments. But since the bank implemented the VBSP smartbanking application, I can pay interest and principal, and learn about policy credit programs with the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) anytime without needing to go to a branch or office, saving time and travel costs, which I find very convenient.”

Mr. Le Dinh Quang, Head of the Savings and Loan Group of the Farmers' Association in Tan Son village, Ha Tan commune (Ha Trung district), said: “The savings and loan group I manage currently has 46 members who are borrowing capital with outstanding loans exceeding 1.6 billion VND. Previously, managing entrusted capital from the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP), I had to spend a lot of time recording and monitoring the ledger, while members who wanted to find out about loan information had to refer to paper documents or meet in person for explanations and guidance. Now, with the application of VBSP's digital technology on mobile devices, I can look up loan recipients, the process of each loan program; understand the details of monthly interest and principal payments and send specific notifications to each loan recipient. Even when I don't remember all the loan programs I'm currently involved in, or the procedures, documents, and amounts... we just need to directly access the application to check. The implementation of VBSP's digital technology has been very helpful in this regard.” "My role is managing entrusted funds for policy credit."

The Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) in Thanh Hoa has actively implemented digital transformation by providing banking services to offer new conveniences, enabling customers to transact more quickly and securely. The deployment of Smart Banking applications not only helps the bank improve service quality and diversify products and services but also helps people gradually access cashless payment services. This contributes to achieving the digital transformation goals of the banking sector. Specifically, VBSP has implemented a Mobile Banking application with an easy-to-use interface, offering many conveniences for customers, enabling quick 24/7 transactions. Customers don't have to wait as long as they would at a counter, and they can use the service anywhere, as long as they have a smartphone with an internet connection. This is particularly suitable for customers in remote and rural areas. The application offers many convenient features, including financial services such as: internal system money transfers, fast external system money transfers, regular external system money transfers; payment of electricity bills, water bills, internet bills, landline phone bills, train tickets, plane tickets, tuition fees, insurance fees, financial loans; payment via QRPay code...

To ensure the effective implementation of the digital transformation of the system, the Thanh Hoa branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) has deployed numerous training programs on policy credit operations for credit officers, entrusted organizations and associations, commune-level poverty reduction officers, and heads of savings and loan groups. To date, 100% of communes, wards, and towns throughout the province have implemented the program and are using Mobile Banking transaction services; tens of thousands of policy loan customers are conducting transactions through the bank's application on their mobile devices.

In addition to the Mobile Banking application, as part of its digital transformation plan, the Thanh Hoa branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (NHCSXH) has equipped its departments with modern, highly secure technology and software systems. This includes deploying a networked online camera application for remote monitoring and management of operations at the branch level; developing software to monitor network status; and automatically scanning for logical errors in the data system. This contributes to the implementation of the digital transformation plan and the development of financial and non-financial transactions, ensuring security and safety in transactions.
