Improve knowledge and professional skills in medium voltage hotline construction work

With the goal of gradually supporting the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) towards building an excellent model for hotline operations, on November 7 and 8, in Thanh Hoa , the Northern Power College coordinated with Thanh Hoa Power Company (PC Thanh Hoa) to organize additional training on medium voltage hotline construction knowledge for professional staff of the Corporation and hotline team leaders of units under EVNNPC.

EDF experts guide the PC Thanh Hoa hotline construction team through the preparation steps before performing work on the grid.

Accordingly, under the direct guidance of 2 experts from the French Electricity Group (EDF) - one of the leading European units in the field of medium voltage hotline, Mr. Laurent Bourcier and Mr. Laurent Viaud. The training implementation process has ensured the connection of theory with practice of medium voltage grid; maintenance, preservation of vehicles, tools, equipment and facilities of the Hotline Repair Team; conducting practical working sessions of the Hotline Repair Team.

During the process, the problems raised by the trainees were answered, knowledge and skills in organizing hotline training were shared, from the roadmap, training location, how to organize periodic training activities, retraining, how to maintain professionalism in hotline operations to information management, certification...

Exchange of experiences in hotline construction at PC Thanh Hoa headquarters.

Based on the actual status of equipment, people and operation methods, EDF experts have evaluated and analyzed the advantages as well as the shortcomings, experience in implementing this work in France to propose a suitable assurance model, which when applied will promote the highest efficiency in hotline construction in Thanh Hoa in particular and the Northern region in general.
