Located at an altitude of 1,400m, Suoi Giang commune, Van Chan district ( Yen Bai ) is not only known for its fresh, cool climate but also for its 500 hectares of hundreds of years old Shan Tuyet tea trees.

Mr. Luong Van Tam, Chairman of the People's Committee of Suoi Giang Commune, Van Chan District, said: "In the coming time, the district will continue to manage and preserve the existing tea growing areas and Shan Tuyet tea materials. Every year, the locality encourages people to plant new and replant to expand the tea growing area. People also pay attention to taking good care of the tea trees so that they can grow and develop, giving better yield and quality, thereby improving the lives of the people."
