Industrial Bank of Korea sponsored 1 billion VND to build a swimming pool to teach drowning prevention in Cam Lo district.

The Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee, Hoang Nam, recently signed a decision approving the project "Supporting the construction of a swimming pool for teaching drowning prevention to students at Cam Tuyen Primary and Secondary School, Cam Lo District, Quang Tri Province," funded by the Industrial Bank of Korea through the COPION organization.

The project aims to improve the school's facilities, creating conditions for students, children, and residents in Cam Tuyen commune to learn and practice swimming skills, thereby preventing drowning.

Accordingly, with a total investment of 1 billion VND, the project will support the construction of a new swimming pool and covered area of ​​269.1 ^m² , a concrete courtyard of 140 ^m² , bathrooms and changing rooms; and electricity and water supply systems. The project implementation period is from the time of approval until the end of September 2025.

The Project Management Board, Land Development Fund and Industrial Cluster of Cam Lo District is responsible for presiding over and coordinating with the donor and relevant local agencies to organize the implementation and use of aid funds in accordance with the objectives and content of the approved project.
