In 2023, the provincial tax department successfully completed the task of collecting state budget revenue (domestic revenue) reaching 3,900 billion VND, achieving 120% of the target assigned by the Ministry of Finance , 111% of the target assigned by the Provincial People's Council, and 104.5% compared to the revenue in 2022.

In 2024, the provincial tax department was assigned to collect 3,885 billion VND in revenue. To achieve the highest possible revenue target, the tax department proactively developed specific programs and plans to advise the Provincial People's Committee on directing and implementing comprehensive revenue collection solutions. This included focusing on disseminating information and policies on taxes, fees, and charges to businesses and citizens, ensuring they fulfill their obligations to declare and pay all taxes and fees due in January 2024 and the first quarter of 2024 fully and promptly into the state budget.
