August 13th: VND/USD exchange rates increased across the board.

On August 13th, the State Bank of Vietnam listed the central exchange rate at 25,247 VND/USD, an increase of 4 dong compared to the morning of August 12th.

According to the stipulated ±5% trading band, today's ceiling exchange rate is 26,509 VND/USD, while the floor exchange rate is 23,985 VND/USD.

The reference exchange rate at the State Bank of Vietnam's exchange floor is currently 24,031 - 26,455 VND/USD (buying rate - selling rate).

The State Bank of Vietnam announces the cross exchange rates of the Vietnamese Dong against several foreign currencies applicable for calculating export and import taxes, effective from August 7th to 13th, as follows:

Exchange rates at commercial banks this morning showed mixed movements. At Vietcombank , the VND/USD exchange rate was listed at 26,060 - 26,450 VND, an increase of 20 VND compared to August 12th.

At VietinBank , the exchange rate updated at 11:00 AM was 26,089-26,449 VND, an increase of 4 VND for both buying and selling rates.

Meanwhile, at BIDV , the exchange rate on August 13th increased by 10 dong in both directions compared to the previous day, currently standing at 26,080 – 26,440 dong.

In the free market, the VND/USD exchange rate increased in both buying and selling directions this morning. Specifically, the buying price increased by 20 dong, currently at 26,450 dong; the selling price increased by 5 dong, at 26,505 dong/USD.
