Muong Ang Commune Ethnic Groups' Culture, Sports and Culinary Festival 2025

Dien Bien Phu - On the evening of November 27th, the People's Committee of Muong Ang commune organized the opening ceremony of the 2025 Cultural, Sports and Culinary Festival of Ethnic Groups in Muong Ang commune.

The Organizing Committee presented commemorative flags to the participating delegations at the 2025 Cultural, Sports and Culinary Festival of Ethnic Groups in Muong Ang Commune.

The festival took place over two days (November 27-28) with many diverse activities such as: 40 booths from agencies, units, schools, armed forces, businesses, cooperatives, and production and business households in Muong Ang commune and the communes of Bung Lao, Na Tau, Muong Lan, Chieng Sinh, Muong Phang, Thanh An, Quai To, Tuan Giao and Tua Chua; cultural exchange, folk song and dance performances; traditional sports competitions; a food festival and unique cultural and tourism programs such as street festivals, coffee experiences; and introduction and geographical indication of Muong Ang coffee.

Representatives from the Department of Agriculture and Environment presented flowers to congratulate the unit on receiving the geographical indication for Muong Ang coffee.

The festival contributes to creating a vibrant atmosphere of emulation to celebrate important political events of the country; promotes, publicizes, and introduces the beauty of the land and people of Muong Ang commune; awakens the spirit of solidarity, promotes the emulation movement in production, and achieves the socio-economic development goals of the locality.
