The 10th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee opened on the morning of September 18, 2024 in Hanoi .

Morning, The Party Central Committee works at the Hall.

Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member and Prime Minister, chaired the meeting on behalf of the Politburo.

The Central Committee observed a minute of silence in memory of compatriots and soldiers who died and sacrificed, and raised donations to support compatriots affected by the recent storm No. 3.

After the opening session, The Party Central Committee works at the organization discuss the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; Summary Report on a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years in Vietnam.

Afternoon, The Party Central Committee works at the organization discuss the draft Report on the assessment of 5 years of implementation of the 10-year socio-economic development strategy 2021-2030, directions and tasks for socio-economic development in the 5-year period 2026-2030; draft Report on the assessment of the implementation of the 2024 socio-economic development plan, the projected 2025 socio-economic development plan; Report on the assessment of the implementation of the state budget in 2024, the state budget estimate in 2025; 3-year state financial-budget plan 2025-2027; policy of the North-South high-speed railway construction investment project.

Evening, The Party Central Committee works at the organization discuss the Summary of the personnel work of the 13th Party Central Committee and the direction of personnel work of the 14th Party Central Committee; the Project to amend and supplement Decision No. 244-QD/TW, dated June 9, 2014 of the 11th Party Central Committee on promulgating the Election Regulations within the Party; the draft Report summarizing the work of Party building and implementation of the Party Charter to be submitted to the 14th Party Congress.
