When the High-Tech Dental Center came into operation, Thong Nhat Hospital (HCMC) had fully completed the specialties in the direction of a comprehensive and specialized geriatric hospital.

On October 17, Thong Nhat Hospital inaugurated the High-Technology Maxillofacial Center, in professional cooperation with the Central Maxillofacial Hospital of Ho Chi Minh City. The High-Tech Maxillofacial Center - Thong Nhat Hospital operates according to international standards in terms of facilities, equipment, and human resources; thereby helping to improve the quality of examination, treatment of maxillofacial surgery, dentistry, cosmetic restoration... for people in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring areas.

Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Tri Thuc and delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the High-Tech Dentistry Center.

With the maxillofacial specialty, Thong Nhat Hospital completes all specialized specialties in line with the orientation of becoming a comprehensive - specialized - high-tech geriatric hospital.

For the elderly with many underlying diseases, treatment of maxillofacial diseases in a general hospital helps ensure safety and comprehensive coordination.

According to Associate Professor, Doctor, Doctor Le Dinh Thanh, Director of Thong Nhat Hospital, the High-Technology Maxillofacial Center helps promote the strengths of two major hospitals for the purpose of developing, serving, and taking care of people's health.
