(Dan Tri) - Waking up and not seeing her children, Ms. T. rushed to look for them and was heartbroken to discover that her twin sons had died in front of her house.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuong (born in 1992), residing in Vinh Quang village, Son Thuy commune, Le Thuy district ( Quang Binh ) has just lost 2 children at the same time due to floods. Ms. Tuong's children are VVQ and VVT (both born in 2022).
At around 5am on October 31st, when Ms. Tuong woke up, she could not find her two children so she went to look for them. After searching around the house but could not find them, Ms. Tuong went to the front and was heartbroken to discover her two children lying in the middle of the flooded yard.

Ms. Tuong quickly picked up her child, shouted for her grandparents and some people who came running with the hope of saving the two children, but it was too late. The grief was overwhelming, the mother cried until she fainted.
According to the family of the two unfortunate children, when the grandparents opened the door, the two children woke up and followed them, but the adults did not notice. When they reached the front porch, the two children unfortunately fell into the flooded area and drowned.
The passing of the two children left the villagers shocked and saddened. The authorities and neighbors came to encourage and support the family in arranging the funeral for the two children.

Next to the coffins of her two children, Ms. Tuong continuously cried and called out her children's names in vain, making everyone feel sorry for her. Ms. Tuong kept tormenting herself, thinking that it was only because of a moment of carelessness on her part, not paying attention to her children, that this happened.
Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Vo Van Thong, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son Thuy commune, said that Ms. Tuong's family is in difficult circumstances, her husband is working in Taiwan (China). The couple has 5 children, 3 daughters and 2 twin boys.
The incident happened at the house of Ms. Tuong's parents-in-law, while she and her children lived in the small house next door. During the flood, Ms. Tuong and her children, along with her parents-in-law, had to take shelter at the village community cultural house.

At 6pm on November 30, when the water gradually receded, Ms. Tuong and her children and her parents-in-law returned home. Because their house was quite flooded, Ms. Tuong and her children stayed at her grandparents' house. The next morning, the heartbreaking incident happened.
Knowing the story of the two children, some philanthropists came to support the family with 10 million VND to take care of the funeral.
As for the children's father, Mr. Vo Van Anh (born in 1989), a few months ago, he took the opportunity to visit his wife, children, and parents for a few days, then returned to Taiwan (China) to work. No one expected that would be the last time Mr. Anh would see his two sons.
