A woman was taking a bath when her door was broken and her property was robbed.

While taking a shower at home, Ms. H. (born in 1998, residing in Ia Chim commune, Kon Tum city, Kon Tum province) was attacked by an intruder who used a knife to threaten and rob her of her belongings.

According to information from the Investigation Police Department of Kon Tum City (Kon Tum province), they have arrested a suspect who brazenly entered a house with a knife to rob property.

The person in question is AT (born in 2007, residing in Ia Chim commune, Kon Tum city).

According to initial information, at approximately 7:20 PM on October 16th, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kon Tum City Police received a report from the Ia Chim Commune Police stating that at around 4:20 PM on the same day, Ms. HTH (born in 1998, residing in Ia Chim Commune) was at home and taking a shower when she heard a knocking sound at the door.

Thinking her husband had come home from work, Ms. H. opened the door to look out, only to be confronted by an assailant who yanked the door open and held her at knifepoint, threatening to stab her to death if she didn't give him money.

In a moment of fear, Ms. H. led the suspect to the bedroom and gave him her piggy bank. After that, the suspect left through the back of the house.

Upon receiving the report, the Criminal Police Team of Kon Tum City Police, in coordination with the Ia Chim Commune Police, quickly deployed forces and applied a comprehensive range of professional measures to investigate and clarify the incident.

Nearly an hour after receiving the report, through reconnaissance work, the authorities quickly located and arrested the suspect, identified as AT, who committed the robbery.

Initial questioning revealed that AT had dropped out of school early and had one prior criminal record. Initially, AT admitted to all of his actions.

Currently, the Investigation Police Department of Kon Tum City has issued a decision to temporarily detain AT for investigation and handling according to the law. At the same time, they have confiscated the weapon used in the crime and all the stolen property.
