Vietnamese people have another virtual medical assistant

Previously, MedCAT AI Care was introduced for testing at the National Data Center Launch Ceremony on August 18, 2025, and received considerable attention.

MedCAT AI Care was developed to provide users with quick and accurate reference information on medications, diseases, nutrition, exercise, and healthcare. The unique aspect of this solution is that the data has been carefully selected by MedCAT's team of doctors and pharmacists from reputable, internationally standardized sources, combined with AI technology to minimize the "illusions" often associated with AI generation, thereby enhancing the accuracy of the information.

Sharing about the product, Ms. Dang Thi Anh Tuyet – General Director of MedCAT JSC said: “MedCAT AI Care is built to provide higher accuracy in information about medications and diseases compared to general chatbot platforms. More importantly, we are gradually perfecting a self-governing medical database for Vietnamese people, creating a platform to connect with personal health data, thereby better supporting the process of monitoring and caring for health, especially for patients.”

Version 1.0 of MedCAT AI Care is just the beginning. In the coming time, the product will continue to be upgraded with many features to personalize the experience and will be an important part of the digital healthcare - insurance ecosystem that MedCAT is building.

Prior to MedCAT AI Care, MedCAT was known as one of the few companies in Vietnam to develop a sovereign AI core platform – MedCAT IDUS. This system automatically reads, extracts, and creates databases with over 97% accuracy in data fields and nearly 100% in characters, without relying on external APIs or requiring form retraining. MedCAT IDUS contributes to affirming the national AI sovereignty strategy and ensuring national data security.

In parallel, MedCAT also pioneered the deployment of MedCAT AI Insurance, a solution to automatically process the entire health insurance claim process, bringing great value to insurance companies and a better experience to customers.
