More than 26,000 billion VND in taxes paid via eTax Mobile

Tax industry brings AI to serve taxpayers on eTax Mobile

After nearly four years of operation, the eTax Mobile electronic tax application has received and processed more than 17.2 million transactions, with a total amount of tax revenue exceeding 26,500 billion VND.

According to Deputy Director of the Tax Department Mai Son, after nearly four years of operation, eTax Mobile has been continuously upgraded according to the "one-stop shop - one-touch" model, integrating login via VNeID and many essential functions such as tax registration, declaration, tax payment, payment on behalf of others, obligation lookup, registration and adjustment of electronic invoices, and business household information lookup. These improvements aim to help taxpayers fulfill their obligations anytime, anywhere.

According to a representative from the Tax Department, since March 2022, the application has been downloaded more than 13 million times and has received and processed over 17.2 million tax payment transactions. In 2025 alone, the number of new registrations exceeded 7 million, 1.2 times higher than the total of the previous three years combined; the number of transactions reached 13.3 million, 3.36 times higher than the previous period; and the amount of tax revenue collected was approximately 18 trillion VND.

The app also holds the number 1 position in the "Business" category on the Vietnamese App Store, reflecting the level of interest and trust from users.

The tax authorities stated that they will also continue to upgrade the application and integrate a chatbot virtual assistant to improve service quality and support for taxpayers.
