A source told TMZ on January 7 that Paris Hilton's home was reduced to rubble after a fire swept across the coast.
Fortunately, it appears Paris Hilton and her family, including husband Carter Reum and two young children, were able to evacuate the area in time.
The Simple Life star and Carter Reum, both 43, bought the home for $8.4 million in June 2021.
Paris Hilton has a home in Malibu, Los Angeles.
The Malibu property is for vacation purposes only, not the family's primary residence, as Hilton mainly lives in Beverly Hills.
While not mentioning the loss of her home, Paris Hilton posted some information related to the fires affecting Los Angeles residents on Instagram on January 8th.
"Praying for LA/California," she wrote above a photo of the devastation, and shared more information about animal shelters and rescue organizations.
Los Angeles County has been engulfed by wildfires since early morning on January 7th. The massive blaze has burned more than 6,000 hectares and forced at least 30,000 people to evacuate.
Officials said this was the most destructive fire in the history of the city of Los Angeles.
Wind gusts of up to 160 km/h fanned the flames as firefighters and first responders scrambled to contain the blaze.
Hundreds of celebrity homes were demolished, including those of Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Leighton Meester, Adam Brody, Anna Farris, and many others.
The tragedy comes just five months after Hilton was caught in another fire while filming her music video for Bad Bitch Academy .
In August 2024, the high-class beauty revealed that her luxury trailer had caught fire after "an accidental fire".
"Although heartbroken, I am incredibly grateful that everyone is safe and I am grateful for the amazing support I have received around me," Paris Hilton wrote on Instagram at the time, along with a photo of her charred trailer.
