Many attractive activities for the "Da Nang beach tourism season 2024"

On April 16th, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches announced that the "Opening Ceremony of Da Nang Beach Tourism Season 2024" will take place from April 26th to May 1st at the East Sea Park, Son Tra Peninsula, and My An, My Khe, T18, and Nguyen Tat Thanh beaches.

The opening ceremony of the beach tourism season has become a cultural, sports , and tourism event with many rich and attractive activities that attract a large number of locals and tourists to visit and have fun on Son Tra Peninsula and the tourist beaches of Da Nang.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Vu, Head of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches, said: With the theme "Summer Waves," the "Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Beach Tourism Season" program, organized by the Management Board in coordination with various units and businesses, features many attractive activities with the desire to bring memorable experiences to locals and tourists at Son Tra Peninsula – the green lung of the city – and the vibrant Da Nang beach area with its blue sea, white sand, and golden sunshine.

"The opening of the beach tourism season is an event that the City People's Committee has agreed to assign to the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches to organize annually on the occasion of April 30 - May 1 since 2014. Up to now, the program has become a cultural, sports and tourism event with many rich and attractive activities attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit and have fun at Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches. Every year, the Management Board always renews activities to diversify beach tourism products and services to serve the increasing entertainment needs of people and tourists at home and abroad," said Mr. Vu.

The artistic kite-flying activity will take place from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM on April 27th at the beach in front of the East Sea Park.

Accordingly, the "Opening of the 2024 Beach Tourism Season" program includes a total of 18 activities: a series of main activities at the East Sea Park and tourist beaches (14 activities) and a series of activities on the Son Tra peninsula (4 activities).

Specifically, the series of main activities at East Sea Park and the beaches include: the opening ceremony will take place at 5:00 p.m. on April 27; artistic kite flying; culinary space; sand sculpture art exhibition; 2024 sea sports performance; children's fashion show; 2024 Da Nang International Sea Rescue Competition; sea swimming competition; Sup racing; beach soccer tournament; a series of activities at My An night beach; experiencing games on the beach; Yoga and Zumba beach performances.

The series of activities on Son Tra Peninsula includes: Son Tra paragliding and motorized paragliding experiences; a photo exhibition themed "Moments of Son Tra"; painting and exhibition themed "Our Little Son Tra", a workshop on painting conical hats and canvas bags, and a tour to observe the brown-footed langurs.

In addition, this year's program also includes activities to protect natural resources and the forest and marine environment, aiming to raise awareness and responsibility among the community and tourists when visiting, traveling, and enjoying recreation on Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches.
