Many attractive activities in "Da Nang beach tourism season 2024"

On April 16, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches announced that the program "opening the Da Nang beach tourism season 2024" will take place from April 26 to May 1 at East Sea Park, Son Tra Peninsula and My An, My Khe, T18, Nguyen Tat Thanh beaches.

The opening program of the beach tourism season has become a cultural, sports and tourism event with many rich and attractive activities attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit and have fun at Son Tra peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Vu, Head of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches said: With the theme "Summer Waves", the program "opening the 2024 beach tourism season" is coordinated by the Management Board with units and businesses to organize many attractive activities with the desire to bring people and tourists memorable experiences at Son Tra Peninsula - the green lung of the city and the vibrant Da Nang beach space with blue sea, white sand and golden sunshine.

"The opening of the beach tourism season is an event that the City People's Committee has agreed to assign to the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches to organize annually on the occasion of April 30 - May 1 since 2014. Up to now, the program has become a cultural, sports and tourism event with many rich and attractive activities attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit and have fun at Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches. Every year, the Management Board always renews activities to diversify beach tourism products and services to serve the increasing entertainment needs of people and domestic and foreign tourists," said Mr. Vu.

The artistic kite flying activity will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 27 at the sandy beach in front of East Sea Park.

Accordingly, the program "opening the 2024 beach tourism season" has a total of 18 activities including: A series of main activities at East Sea Park and tourist beaches (14 activities) and a series of activities at Son Tra peninsula (4 activities).

Specifically, the main activities at East Sea Park and the beaches include: the opening ceremony will take place at 5:00 p.m. on April 27; artistic kite flying; culinary space; sand sculpture art exhibition; 2024 sea sports performance; children's fashion show; 2024 Da Nang International Sea Rescue Competition; sea swimming competition; Sup racing; beach soccer tournament; a series of activities at My An night beach; experiencing games on the beach; Yoga and Zumba beach performances.

The series of activities at Son Tra peninsula include: Son Tra paragliding experience and motorized paragliding experience; photo exhibition with the theme "Son Tra Moments"; drawing and painting exhibition with the theme "Our little Son Tra", conical hat and canvas bag painting workshop and "Watching the Red-shanked Douc Langur" experience tour.

In addition, this year's program also includes activities to protect natural resources, protect the forest and marine environment to raise awareness and responsibility of the community and tourists when visiting, traveling as well as having fun and entertaining at Son Tra peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches./.
