Many products on display at the Conference on Trade Promotion and Import-Export Development in the Mekong Delta region

This morning, September 6th, the Ministry of Industry and Trade , in coordination with the People's Committees of several provinces and cities, organized the Conference on Trade Promotion and Export-Import Development in the Mekong Delta region in Can Tho City.

The conference was co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang; Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City; and Mr. Le Van Su - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau .

The conference was attended by approximately 200 delegates, including leaders of the People's Committees of provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region, leaders of relevant units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, industry associations, representatives of business support agencies and organizations, and businesses involved in manufacturing, import-export, trade, and logistics services.

This is one of a series of six trade promotion and import-export development conferences for economic regions across the country, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, aimed at exchanging and discussing solutions for regional linkages in trade promotion and import-export development.

In addition to the conference, more than 100 distinctive products from various provinces and cities were on display.

There are 25 exhibition booths showcasing nearly 100 typical products from the provinces and cities of the Mekong Delta region.

This is an opportunity for manufacturers and distributors to access the market, as well as to promote regional linkages in trade promotion and import/export.
