(NLDO) - The martyrs are buried in the martyrs' cemeteries of Binh Thuan, Binh Duong , Dong Nai provinces and local cemeteries.
On the morning of December 8th, at the National Funeral Home in the South (Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City), a funeral ceremony was held for 12 martyrs who died while performing their duties during a training exercise on December 2nd, 2024. Representatives from central and local agencies, both within and outside the military, came to pay their respects to the martyrs.

Here, Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, Commander of Military Region 7, and Lieutenant General Tran Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 7, on behalf of the Party and the State, presented the Order of National Defense, 3rd Class, and the Certificate of Recognition from the Fatherland; Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, presented the "Brave Youth" badge to representatives of 12 families of martyrs.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, Commander of Military Region 7, presents the Order of National Defense, Third Class, to the families of fallen soldiers.
President Luong Cuong sent a wreath to the funeral.
Former President Truong Tan Sang, former President Nguyen Minh Triet, former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, and former Standing Member of the Central Party Committee Le Hong Anh paid their respects at the funeral.
Lieutenant General Tran Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 7, presents Certificates of Recognition from the Fatherland to the families of fallen soldiers.
A delegation from the Ministry of National Defence, led by Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Deputy Minister of National Defence, paid their respects.
The Ho Chi Minh City delegation, led by Politburo member and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen, paid their respects. Accompanying the delegation were Central Committee member and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai; and Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Phuoc Loc.

The memorial service and funeral procession will take place at 11:00 AM on the same day. Afterwards, the martyrs will be buried in the martyrs' cemeteries of Binh Thuan, Binh Duong, and Dong Nai provinces, as well as in local cemeteries.
