"Before, my son only liked being a singer, liked singing pop music, even though his parents had oriented him to become a stage actor. However, this year, Hoai Anh Kiet has made an effort to practice and stick with the reformed stage, which makes my husband and I happy" - artist Hoai Thanh said.

With artist Do Quyen, she thinks differently: "In reality, my son can choose the career he believes in the most. After a period of being a singer, specializing in singing youth music, that experience is very valuable and is also a channel of information for him to absorb, listen to what the audience of the same age thinks about the reformed theater. After that, he applies it to perfect each role in each play, speaking the voice that young people care about."

Singer Hoai Anh Kiet performed quite well the roles: Ly Nam Nam (play "Trang hoa mai" by People's Artist Dao Mong Long, adapted by composer The Chau), Nhu Nam Vuong (play "Dao Tam Xuan bao phu cuu") and the role of Te Vuong (play "Chung Vo Diem"). Alongside actress Thanh Hien, Hoai Anh Kiet was staged by his parents to perform emotionally.

"I have always been conscious of following in my parents' footsteps, because the path my parents have taken has been very glorious in art. That shining example and the concern when I could not perform cải lương has urged me to try to practice. My dream is to organize a live show of cải lương art of the family in 2020, so that I can sing and perform with my parents, responding to the love that the public has shown for my family" - singer Hoài Anh Kiệt said.

Artist Hoai Thanh started out as a singer who matured during his time at the amateur music band in Hoc Mon, where People's Artist Thanh Tung played for him to sing along to the rhythm, then he was trained by famous musicians such as: Van Vi, Ut Trong, Bay Ba...
