It is known that Van Anh was born and raised in a family where both parents are accountants, and no one in her family studied or worked in a field related to Literature. Her love for Literature was nurtured and grew stronger when she reached 10th grade, inspired by her literature teacher. From then on, many plans and goals were kindled in her. The deeper she delved into Literature knowledge and immersed herself in the subject, the more Van Anh wanted to pursue it long-term.

Van Anh shared: “Each subject possesses its own unique value, and the advantage of Literature lies in its emotional aspect. Instead of approaching students with dry theories and concepts, Literature comes to students in a gentle and pleasant way. Literature allows us to experience the flavors of life, valuable lessons that help each person reflect on themselves, and from there, have better thoughts and actions.”

In addition to her classroom learning, Van Anh also regularly studies advanced literature from textbooks to expand her vocabulary.

Van Anh said that to excel in this subject, the most important thing is to create inspiration for oneself, maintain passion, read many books and materials, and focus on listening to lectures from teachers in class. The female student always maintains a habit of reading and reads selectively. After each reading, she usually writes down her thoughts, observations, and opinions to remember and understand the issues more deeply.

Especially in the digital age, in addition to the knowledge and skills learned in class and in life, Van Anh frequently accesses the internet to update herself on current events, economics , culture, and society... "I often watch programs like 'Acts of Kindness,' '24h News,' 'Road to Olympia'... and memorize the names of interesting and engaging characters and events to use as evidence in my essays. In addition, I also regularly refer to Vietnamese Literature knowledge from online Fanpages such as: 'Learning Literature with Ms. Hien,' 'Training for Gifted Literature Students,' 'Specialized Literature Materials'... to accumulate more knowledge."

To memorize knowledge and improve her handwriting speed, Van Anh usually spends 30 minutes each evening summarizing her literature knowledge.

Thanks to a well-structured study plan, after more than a year of studying at Phan Dinh Phung High School, this female student from Thanh Sen ward has achieved outstanding academic results: Second prize in Literature at the High School Olympic Exam, first prize in Literature at the provincial level for 10th grade, top score in Literature in her class, etc. Moreover, she is also a dynamic and confident student who actively participates in school and class activities.

Recounting her journey to winning second prize in Literature at the Hanoi National University High School Literature Olympiad, Van Anh acknowledged that she felt quite relaxed entering the exam room. “Before starting the exam, I spent 15 minutes thinking about my writing style and creating a preliminary outline for both the social commentary and literary analysis sections on a piece of scrap paper. This way, I could develop my ideas coherently and comprehensively for each section. To improve my writing, I expanded on the evidence, quoting famous sayings and relevant opinions interspersed throughout the analysis,” the student shared.

The achievements she has made today are a precious gift, well-deserved for the trust that her teachers and parents have placed in her."

Commenting on the student, Ms. Ngo Thi Loan - Van Anh's homeroom teacher and Literature teacher - affirmed: "Van Anh is a very intelligent student with a unique and distinctive way of thinking. She also has a strong, even fierce, determination, knows how to plan and execute her plans step by step. Van Anh's essays often have very impressive highlights, and importantly, she has accumulated life experience, drawing from her own experiences, so her essays are always vivid and authentic."
