Late on November 14, due to water flowing from upstream, the water level of Tuy Loan River rose abnormally, causing flooding in some sections of National Highway 14G and Tuyen Son-Tuy Loan road through Hoa Phong commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang .

According to VTC News reporters at 11:40 p.m., National Highway 14G, through Tuy Loan Tay village, Hoa Phong commune, Hoa Vang district, was flooded up to 0.5 meters deep, stretching nearly 70 meters, making it very difficult for people and vehicles to pass. Some people who came home late from work risked their lives by riding their motorbikes through the flooded area to get home.

Also due to the rising water level of Tuy Loan River, the last section of Tuyen Son-Tuy Loan road was flooded 0.5-0.7m deep. To ensure the safety of people and vehicles, local authorities had to put up warning ropes to stop traffic.

Water from the Tuy Loan River crossed National Highway 14G and continued to overflow onto inter-village roads in Hoa Phong and Hoa Nhon communes. At 11:50 a.m., the water level on these roads continued to rise to the threshold of houses, forcing people to raise their furniture.

According to Mr. Le Dinh Phuc (residing in Tuy Loan Tay village, Hoa Phong commune), although it was not raining heavily, water from upstream poured into the downstream of Tuy Loan river from the evening of November 14 and by about 10:30 p.m., it flooded some sections of National Highway 14G, then continued to overflow along inter-village roads. " At 11:40 p.m., the water was still rising and almost overflowing into people's houses. Tonight, no one will dare to sleep because at this rate, flooding will continue," Mr. Phuc shared.

According to Mr. Phuc, although it was late at night, seeing the river water rising rapidly, he and many families in the village had to bring their cars and motorbikes to the village Cultural House to park.

According to the Central Central Hydrometeorological Forecasting Station, from 10pm on November 14 to 10pm on November 16, Da Nang City will have moderate to heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain and thunderstorms. Total rainfall in Cam Le district, Hoa Vang district will be 100-250mm, some places will be over 300mm, the remaining districts will be 80-150mm, some places will be over 200mm.
