Prostitution den disguised as a coffee shop

On May 23, Bac Giang Provincial Police said the Criminal Police Department had prosecuted Pham Van Tam (48 years old), Doan Van Chung (25 years old), Vi Van Chanh (27 years old) and Hoang Thi Hong Tham (22 years old) for the crime of Prostitution Brokerage.

According to the authorities, Pham Van Tam is the leader of the prostitution ring. To operate, Tam opened a coffee and beverage shop in Trung village, Noi Hoang commune, Yen Dung district, then recruited prostitutes and provided them with food and accommodation at the shop.

Tam hired the above 3 subjects to be managers, monitor income and expenditure, negotiate prices for prostitution and take employees to motels to sell sex.

Customers who buy sex are Vietnamese and foreigners who are working in the industrial park in Viet Yen town and Yen Dung district.

On the evening of May 12, after receiving money from customers buying sex at the bar, Chung and Chanh took 6 prostitutes to Hoang Anh motel (Tang Tien ward, Viet Yen town) to sell sex to customers.

This "transaction" was discovered and caught red-handed by the Criminal Police Department.
