Car carrying 6 people plunged into abyss on Dai Ninh pass

On the evening of December 13, authorities in Binh Thuan province said that the rollover accident on Dai Ninh pass through Bac Binh district had just been handled.

Earlier in the afternoon of the same day, a 7-seat car was traveling from Lam Dong to Binh Thuan. When reaching km 44 through Phan Lam commune, Bac Binh district, the car plunged into the Dai Ninh pass.

There were 6 people in the car and fortunately, no one was injured. The people in the car were rescued by people around and pulled out of the 20 meter deep abyss.

According to locals, on the afternoon of December 13, it rained in the Dai Ninh pass area.

Previously, in July 2022, at this location, a 30-seat passenger bus carrying many women and children also plunged into a ravine, injuring several people.

Dai Ninh Pass has many hairpin bends and bad roads. The route through this pass – National Highway 28B – is currently undergoing a renovation and upgrading project.
