Mr. Lam Dong holds the position of Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council elected Mr. Lam Dong as Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Lu Thanh Hai as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021 - 2026 term and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On the afternoon of October 16, the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province, term VII, 2021 - 2026, held a thematic meeting to carry out personnel work within its authority and consider and decide on a number of other important contents.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council elected and voted (100% of delegates) to pass the Resolution on confirming the election results of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, term VII, 2021 - 2026 for Mr. Lam Dong (Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee) and elected Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council for Mr. Lu Thanh Hai (Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Nha Trang Ward).

Mr. Lam Dong (54 years old, hometown Hoai Nhon Bac Ward, Gia Lai Province) has a Master's degree in Party Building and State Administration; Bachelor's degree in English Pedagogy; Bachelor's degree in Political Education; Senior level in Political Theory.

Mr. Lu Thanh Hai (57 years old, hometown Binh Dinh Ward, Gia Lai Province) has a Bachelor of Law; Bachelor of Party Building and State Administration; Senior in Political Theory.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Lam Dong said that being elected by the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council is a great honor and responsibility. The new Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council affirmed that he will, together with the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the committees of the Provincial People's Council, inherit valuable experiences, strive, uphold the spirit of responsibility to constantly innovate and improve the quality of the Provincial People's Council's activities.

Also at the meeting, delegates elected Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha (Provincial Party Committee member, Chief of Office of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee) to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term with 100% of the votes.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha (44 years old, from Hai Phong) has a Master's degree in Public Administration, Bachelor's degree in Administrative Studies, and Senior degree in Political Theory. From July 2020 to July 2022, Mr. Ha held the position of Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa (now the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism). From August 2022 to June 2025, Mr. Ha held the position of Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province. After the merger of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces, Mr. Ha held the position of Chief of Office of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

Thus, currently, the leaders of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee include Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and 5 Vice Chairmen: Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang, Mr. Le Huyen, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha.
