Mr. Nguyen Van Phong was assigned as Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee.

The Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee decided to assign Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, as Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVII, 2020-2025.

On November 8, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, signed a decision to assign Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, to the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the 17th Hanoi Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

This Decision comes into force from the date of signing.

Previously, the Politburo decided to transfer Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, to stop participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, and to stop holding the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Transfer Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen to work at the Central Office of the Vietnam Women's Union; appoint her to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union for the 2022-2027 term.

Afterwards, the Central Executive Committee of the Union elected Ms. Tuyen to hold the position of President of the Vietnam Women's Union for the 2022-2027 term with 100% of delegates in agreement.

Ms. Tuyen, the successor of Ms. Ha Thi Nga, was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee.
