PGBank appoints new 8X General Director

Ms. Dinh Thi Huyen Thanh holds a PhD in Finance and Banking (Maastricht University, Netherlands) and has over 17 years of experience in the finance and banking sector. During her career, she has held key positions at RaboBank in the Netherlands and the United States, as well as at Techcombank. In July 2023, Ms. Dinh Thi Huyen Thanh joined PGBank as Director of Human Resources Management and Development. In August 2023, she was officially appointed as the Permanent Deputy General Director and Director of Human Resources Management and Development. On October 23, 2023, the PGBank Board of Directors approved the appointment of Ms. Thanh – a member of the Board of Directors for the 2020-2025 term – as Acting General Director of the Bank.

Based on the approval of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) in Official Letter No. 8848/NHNN-TTGSNH dated November 15, 2023, the Board of Directors of PGBank issued Resolution No. 139/2023/NQ-HĐQT appointing Ms. Dinh Thi Huyen Thanh as a Member of the Board of Directors and General Director of PGBank, effective from November 17, 2023.

Mr. Pham Manh Thang - Chairman of the Board of Directors of PGBank said: "After a short time in the position of Acting General Director, Ms. Dinh Thi Huyen Thanh has demonstrated outstanding capabilities and pioneering spirit, leading the bank to implement many innovative initiatives, creating momentum for strong breakthroughs in the future." The appointment of Ms. Dinh Thi Huyen Thanh as General Director reflects the Board of Directors' confidence in PGBank's new generation of leaders.
