Contestants will go through three rounds of competition: preliminary, semi-final, and final. The final round will take place from the end of November or the beginning of December 2024, featuring the 12 most outstanding vocalists. Each contestant will perform one song with a Hanoi theme and one song of their own choosing.
On the afternoon of November 11th, in Hanoi, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports held a press conference about the "Hanoi's Best Voice" singing competition in 2024. This cultural and artistic event is organized to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) and the 1014th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi.
Speaking at the press conference, Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, Do Dinh Hong, said that the "Hanoi Good Voice" competition, which started in 1997, not only aims to find outstanding singers but also serves as a starting point for great talents in Vietnamese music .

According to Mr. Do Dinh Hong, many artists such as People's Artist Tan Minh, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, singers Hong Nhung, My Linh, Tung Duong and many other renowned artists have risen to prominence from this competition, becoming outstanding voices of Hanoi and national music.
The "Hanoi Best Voice 2024" competition is open to contestants aged 16-35 who are currently living, working, or studying in Hanoi, as well as some contestants who have won high prizes in vocal competitions in some provinces and centrally-governed cities.
Contestants will go through three rounds of competition: preliminary, semi-final, and final. The preliminary round will take place from November 12th to 16th at the Workers' Theater (42 Trang Tien Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi). In this round, contestants will sing their registered song without musical accompaniment, thereby showcasing their vocal talent, style, and musical personality.
The Organizing Committee is expected to select 60 outstanding contestants to continue competing in the semi-finals (November 19-21), where the contestants will be supported by a professional orchestra.
The final round will feature performances by the 12 most outstanding vocalists. Each contestant will perform one song with a Hanoi theme and one song of their own choosing. The final night is scheduled to be held at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace (Hanoi) and will be broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television.
The Organizing Committee will award first, second, and third prizes to outstanding contestants in three main music genres: classical, folk, and pop. In addition, there will be supplementary prizes such as Best Song about Hanoi and Audience Favorite.
