Launching the 'Digital Education for All' movement and launching 3 key software in the e-Government construction project

This morning, July 4, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' office, the Department of Cipher - Information Technology coordinated with the Ministry's Office to organize the launching ceremony of the "Digital Popular Education" movement and the opening ceremony of the Electronic Information Portal, the Document Management and Operation System of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry-level Data Sharing Integration Platform (LGSP).

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, leaders of the Ministry, representatives of units and officers, civil servants and public employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs .

The "Digital Education for All" movement is organized according to plan No. 01-KH/BCĐTW dated March 21, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee on science , technology development, innovation and digital transformation, aiming to create changes in awareness and action among civil servants, public employees, and units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Department of Cryptography - Information Technology presides over and coordinates with relevant units to organize training on the use of digital platforms and digital skills for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to apply in daily work.

This is a practical activity to implement the National Digital Transformation Plan, build e-Government and digital government in the Foreign Affairs sector, improve information technology skills, and effectively serve professional work and management and administration.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son emphasized that launching the "Digital Education for All" movement has important and practical significance, demonstrating the strong political determination of the Party and Government to concretize the Party's guidelines and policies in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that in the context of widespread digital transformation, officials, civil servants and public employees under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs need to clearly recognize that improving digital capacity, digital knowledge and digital skills to accelerate the modernization of diplomacy is an objective task, a strategic choice, and a top priority in the current revolutionary period.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested all cadres, civil servants and public employees under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promptly implement the tasks assigned in Decision No. 1637/QD-BNG, actively participate in training programs on digital transformation and digital technology. Party committees, authorities at all levels, and heads of units need to take the lead in setting an example, promoting digital transformation in their units, considering this an important political task at the present time.

The Deputy Prime Minister also requested the young cadres, youth union, and on-site IT teams to be the core to guide and support colleagues in learning together. Through this movement, all cadres must grasp the skills and master the application of digital transformation, master digital tools, and apply e-Government and digital Government software systems to effectively serve their work.

The e-Government development project is implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordination with the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT). The project includes: Electronic Information Portal; Document Management - Operation System of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry-level Data Sharing Integration Platform (LGSP).

These are three key platforms of the e-Government construction project at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aiming to realize the comprehensive digital transformation strategy of the diplomatic sector.

The operation of the above three important systems is an important milestone, opening a new development phase in the digital transformation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These are important "digital links", contributing to the formation of an e-Government ecosystem at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, operating in real time, saving time, reducing procedures, increasing efficiency, improving operational capacity and creating the premise for a modern, professional and effective diplomatic model.
