Launching an online contest to learn about the 60-year history of the "Three Readies" Movement

Through this, we foster patriotism, heroism, self-reliance, self-improvement, and the spirit of national unity; and strengthen and cultivate the confidence of young people and the people in the cause of renewing the capital and the country.

At the same time, the competition created an atmosphere of excitement within all levels of the Youth Union; fostered a vibrant competitive spirit among Youth Union members and young people in Hanoi, emulating the previous generations of "Three Ready" youth, continuing the "Youth Volunteer" movement and other exemplary revolutionary action movements; affirming the pride, honor, and responsibility of Youth Union members and young people in Hanoi, thereby creating new motivation and momentum to promote Youth Union work and youth movements in Hanoi.

According to Nguyen Tien Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, the competition was organized in a modern and attractive format, attracting the attention and participation of a large number of youth union members and young people in the capital city; it was implemented on schedule, ensuring objectivity, honesty, and fairness. The competition needs to be promoted before, during, and after its conclusion to ensure effectiveness and widespread dissemination.

The event will be held from 8 PM to 9:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the first two weeks of July 2024: July 2nd, 4th, 9th, and 11th, 2024.

The contestants include officials, union members, young people, people from all walks of life in Hanoi and throughout the country; and foreigners living, studying, and working in Vietnam.

Content and format of the competition: to learn about the historical significance of the "Three Ready" movement, about the revolutionary traditions of Thang Long - Hanoi, a thousand-year-old city of culture and heroism. To demonstrate the competitive spirit of today's youth in the capital, emulating the generations of "Three Ready" youth from previous periods, continuing the "Youth Volunteer" movement and other exemplary revolutionary action movements.

An interactive online quiz will be held from 8 PM to 9:30 PM on July 2nd, 4th, 9th, and 11th, 2024, via livestream on the "Hanoi Youth Union" Fanpage (https://www.facebook.com/thanhdoanhn) . Participants will interact with the host and answer questions directly during the livestream by commenting with their chosen correct option.

Each session consists of 15 online multiple-choice questions. For each question, the host reads the question and four answer options.

The prize structure is as follows: 15 consolation prizes for the winners of each question in each competition session (for the fastest and most correct answers): 100,000 VND in cash and one copy of the documents of the 12th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2022-2027.

1st Prize: Awarded to the winner of the competition (The person who answers the most questions correctly and fastest will receive the overall prize of the competition) 1 million VND in cash and a Certificate from the Competition Organizing Committee.
