Mr. Le Van Luan's family received loans from the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to invest in effective economic development.
Mr. Le Van Luan in Lang Mat village, Van Thien commune said: Since starting his business, he has always received the companionship and support of Nong Cong Social Policy Bank. Coming from a farming family, before 2015, to make a living, he had tried many different jobs and occupations, but life still encountered many difficulties, his family was among the poor households in the commune. Through understanding the market, he decided to study the aluminum and glass profession, in 2016, Nong Cong Social Policy Bank created conditions for him to borrow 50 million VND from the poor household program to open an aluminum and glass production workshop. The business developed, by July 2019, the family paid off all the debt to the bank, the family economy gradually stabilized. Due to the need to expand the market, in early 2024, Nong Cong Social Policy Bank continued to disburse 100 million VND from the job creation loan program to invest in expanding production scale. He invested in purchasing modern machinery such as double-head aluminum cutting machines, milling machines, and punching machines. Taking product quality as a reputation, the store is increasingly sought after by customers from near and far. His family's aluminum and glass products are present in all communes in the district and are increasingly diverse, rich, ensuring quality as well as high aesthetics. He now has a spacious aluminum and glass store, with a stable income, creating jobs for 5 workers.
To effectively promote policy credit capital, Nong Cong Social Policy Bank has focused on coordinating with socio -political organizations to effectively implement entrusted lending programs. Through this, the combined strength of the entire political system from the district to the grassroots level has been mobilized to promptly, conveniently and safely transfer social policy credit capital to poor households and other policy beneficiaries. Socio-political organizations have promoted their strengths in participating in evaluating beneficiaries, managing, urging, and checking the effectiveness of loan use, debt repayment, and interest payment by borrowers, helping to improve the effectiveness of capital use.
Nong Cong Social Policy Bank also proactively develops annual targets and plans, promptly transfers capital to beneficiaries and strengthens inspection and supervision of capital use to bring about the highest efficiency; focuses on guiding lending operations and fully implementing directive documents related to policy credit programs to Party committees, authorities, organizations and unions. Thereby, enhancing the role and responsibility in coordinating management, guidance, and appraisal of records, ensuring loans to the right subjects, for the right purposes and effective use, contributing to the implementation of poverty reduction goals, building advanced and exemplary new rural areas, and ensuring social security in the locality. Every year, based on the capital demand from localities, Nong Cong Social Policy Bank flexibly implements solutions to balance credit capital assigned by superiors, accelerates the collection of loans due to organize rotation and disbursement of capital to workers in need of loans.
As of early June 2025, the total outstanding balance of policy credit programs in Nong Cong district reached more than 657 billion VND. Outstanding balance of credit programs focuses on loans for clean water and rural environmental sanitation, loans for job creation, loans for newly escaped poverty households, loans for near-poor households, etc. Credit quality is controlled, total overdue debt and frozen debt accounts for 0.14% of total outstanding balance. In the coming time, the Nong Cong District Social Policy Bank will continue to focus on disbursing capital for programs according to assigned targets; proactively advise the District People's Committee to pay attention to directing the allocation of a part of the capital from the local budget to supplement the trust through banks for lending to poor households and other policy beneficiaries. Timely deploy effective solutions to promptly transfer policy credit capital to beneficiaries. At the same time, coordinate with local authorities, network organizations and unions to strengthen inspection and supervision, especially regularly inspect the use of capital by borrowers, ensure that borrowers use capital for the right purposes, effectively promote policy credit capital sources in the area, and strive to "leave no one behind" due to lack of capital.
