The first session of the 7th Provincial Farmers' Association Congress, term 2023-2028

On the afternoon of August 13, the 7th Congress of Ninh Binh Provincial Farmers' Association, term 2023-2028, held its first session.

Attending the event were comrade Do Viet Anh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representative of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union ; leaders of a number of Party Building Committees of the Provincial Party Committee; 255 delegates representing more than 130,000 farmer members in the whole province.

At the first session, the Congress elected the Presidium, Secretariat, and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board; approved the Congress program and regulations; listened to reports: Report on the qualification examination of delegates attending the Congress; Report on the results of implementing the targets of the 6th term and expected targets of the 7th term; Review report of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term VI, 2018-2023; Report synthesizing comments on the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Association and the Charter of the Vietnam Farmers' Association (amended).

The review report of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term VI, 2018-2023, affirmed: During the past term, the Executive Committee has promoted the spirit of solidarity, innovation, creativity, focused on leadership, direction, and concretized into programs and plans suitable to reality. The Association's work and the farmers' movement have increasingly developed, attracting a large number of farmers to participate in implementation, contributing to the completion and over-fulfillment of 12/12 congress targets.

Delegates voted to elect the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term VII.

With a democratic, serious and responsible spirit, the Congress voted to elect 31 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term VII, 2023-2028.

Also this afternoon, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term VII, 2023-2028, held its first meeting to conduct personnel work according to its authority.

Tomorrow morning (August 14), the 7th Congress of the Ninh Binh Provincial Farmers' Association, term 2023-2028, officially opened with the theme "Solidarity - Responsibility - Innovation - Development".
