Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha suddenly inspected Long Thanh Airport Project

(DN) - On the morning of September 7, Party Central Committee member and Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha led a Government delegation to conduct a surprise inspection of the construction progress of the Long Thanh International Airport Project, Phase 1. Receiving and participating in the delegation was Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha.

At the project site, the delegation inspected the construction of the second runway package of Long Thanh Airport, phase 1, and the passenger terminal construction package.

Speaking at the construction site, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha instructed the investor, Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), to urge and direct contractors to accelerate construction progress, ensuring the project is basically completed before December 19, 2025, as required by the Prime Minister. In particular, the second runway construction package, although started later, must also be basically completed by that date.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha also presented gifts to encourage the project construction forces. Sharing with the officers, engineers, and workers, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha said: Long Thanh Airport Project is a key project, bearing the century mark of the country, therefore, each officer, engineer, and worker must feel proud to participate in the construction of this special project of the country. From there, efforts will be made to ensure construction progress, quality, and labor safety.
